We envision a world where every autistic individual, across all cultures, languages, and levels of support, experiences real human connection. Autistic individuals think, communicate, and relate in unique ways, yet connection, play, safety, and understand remain the foundation of healthy development for all children. While autism is incredibly diverse and no single approach fits every child, every autistic child deserves access to meaningful relationships and supportive environments. Our vision is a world where connection is possible for every autistic child and where families everywhere feel empowered in nurturing that connection.

Our Founder
My name is Ashley Gillespie. My journey began in childhood, watching my cousin Hailey, who has profound autism, navigate a world not designed for her. The challenges she faced, and the impact on our family, lit a lifelong calling in me to support autistic children and the people who love them.
In 2016, the Lord placed a vision in my heart: create an oasis for families. That vision became the Children’s Oasis Foundation. Over time, as our mission grew, we reimagined it as the Global Bloom Project, a movement grounded in human connection and the belief that every child can bloom when deeply understood and supported.
Today I also lead Bloom Developmental Center in League City, Texas, where I provide intensive social and emotional therapy for autistic children and their families. Hailey, who still requires round-the-clock care, continues to inspire my commitment to helping families and organizations around the world learn how to truly connect with autistic children.
